Blackhawks flyer moves to Sunshine Coast

MapSports Jon Reuben hs agreed to terms with the Sunshine Coast Falcons for the 2019 season. Reuben who has scored 70 tries in 68 ISP Super Cup appearaces for the Townsville Blackhawks has decided to move south to the Sunshine Coast as it will allow him to spend the preseason in the much vaunted Melbourne Storm system.

Reuben, who has spent time in the Sydney Roosters and Canberra Raiders systems, says he is looking forward to getting back into an NRL system, where he can re-evaluate where he is upto in regards to the elite players of the game. "I have enjoyed my time with the Blackhawks and enjoyed alot of success with the organisation. Unfortunately I need to move sideways to go forward again and I am aprreciative of the Falcons and the Storm for the chance to reignite my career."

Commenting on the signing football staff said, "He is a natural finisher, who carries tremndous speed and athletisism. We wanted to tie himionto the Storm preseason to show him the value of that system and what it can potentially add to his already advanced game".
