With his future secured through to end of 2012 Gordon can continue his growth as a player that has seen him atop of the NRL pointscorers list since the start of the 2010 season.

Also firmly in his sights is his ongoing selection for the NSW Blues which he hopes to continue.

With strong interest from the Cronulla Sharks it was an vastly improved offer from the Panthers that closed the deal for Gordon.

"We are an improved side who are travelling well and hoping to figure strongly in the finals this year. I am looking forward to the run home and hopefully we are in with a show". said Gordon
